Wish I had something good to say
Tags: heart broken

I haven't been here in a while. I was posting on myspace for a while. My GF broke up with me the day after Thanksgiving. She found someone that made her feel differently than I do. Something New she described it as. The next day I get the call from a background investigator to start looking at my background to get the job I wanted with the city as a 911 dispatcher. It turns out something I did 9 years ago disqualifies me for it I am having a sucky month.

It feels better to vent some. I wish I could meet a local girl that could ... I dunno, make me forget and start anew... I made alot of great memories with her in the past 3 1/2 years. Those I want to learn from and forget the rest.

sucks being single during the Holidays.

Do you know?

  I didn't know!

How could we?

Did you know that 47 countries' have reestablished their embassies in Iraq?

 /FNT
Did you know that the Iraqi government currently employs 1.2 million Iraqi people?

Did you know that 3100 schools have been renovated,

364 schools are under rehabilitation,

263 new schools are now under construction

and 38 new schools have been completed in Iraq?

Did you know that Iraq's higher educational structure consists of 20 Universities,

46 Institutes or colleges and 4 research centers,

all currently operating?

Did you know that 25 Iraq students departed for the United States in January 2005

for the re-established Fulbright program?

Did you know that the Iraqi Navy is operational?

They have 5 - 100-foot patrol craft, 34 smaller vessels and a naval infantry regiment.

Did you know that Iraq's Air Force consists of three operational squadrons,

which incl 9 reconnaissance and 3 US C-130 transport aircraft

(under Iraqi operational control)

which operate day and night, and will soon add 16 UH-1 helicopters and 4 Bell Jet Rangers?

Did you know that Iraq has a counter-terrorist unit and a Commando Battalion?

Did you know that the Iraqi Police Service has over 55,000

fully trained and equipped police officers?

Did you know that there are 5 Police Academies in Iraq

that produce over 3500 new officers each 8 weeks?

Did you know there are more than 1100 building projects going on in Iraq?

They include 364 schools, 67 public clinics, 15 hospitals, 83 railroad stations,

Did you know that 96% of Iraqi children under the age of 5

have received the first 2 series of polio vccinatons?

Did you know that 4.3 million Iraqi children were enrolled in primary school by mid October?

Did you know that there are 1,192,000 cell phone subscribers in Iraq

and phone use has gone up 158%?

Did you know that Iraq has an independent media that consists of 75 radio stations,

180 newspapers 10 television stations?

Did you know that the Baghdad Stock Exchange opened in June of 2004?

Did you know that 2 candidates in the Iraqi presidential election had a televised debate recently?

  OF COURSE WE DIDN'T KNOW!

WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW?

OUR  MEDIA WOULDN'T TELL US!

Instead of reflecting our love for our country,

we get photo ffag burning incidents at Abu Ghraib

and people throwing snowballs at the presidential motorcades.

Tragically, the lack of accentuating the positive in Iraq serves two purposes:

It is intended to undermine the world's perception of the United States

thus minimizing consequent support,

and it is intended to discourage American citizens.

---- Above facts are verifiable on the Department of Defense web site.

.......Pass it on!  Give it a Wide Dissemination!

Could it be that the Liberal Media does not want to allow the Republicans to get re-elected?????

Life in general...

Its been a while since I have updated...

I have been enjoying reading others blogs and leaving them my thoughts and ramblings.

Work is weird... I am getting the weekend off... I haven't had weekends off in so long, I didn't even know what to do with myself... I burned up last weekend by sleepiing most of the day... mainly because I closed and didn't get home untill almost 3Am..

Last week I took my dad and his friend to the AES Convention in San Fransisco at the Moscone Center. That was cool. We looked at and got to talk to a lot of Audio companies and different distributers of stuff my Dad is into. A bottle of water was $3.00. I had to go outside of the convention center to a Starbucks to get a "Decent" coffee and an acceptible price.... sad... but the coffee was good though... white mocha for a change instead of the good ol standby of a carmel machiato....

We found out that Grandmas place is being sold. the executer of the will seems to not be very strait forward with us about debts and what was going to happen untill we get this letter from him stating that the place is for sale and that my Dad can bid on it...  It seems sick to be bidding on your inheritance...

I can't think of any other issues bugging me too much... theres is politics and terroists stories... I won't go there, just hope and pray that our troops are safe and that they kill or stop the bad guys before they get us...

Illeagal imagration is so very complicated, made complicated by our elected officials for not doing something about it for so long. Some of the guys I work with are illeagal. One guy got picked up in one of the raids in South county a couple weeks ago and deported... he was a good hard worker... I was complaing that the INS or ICE guys were so lazy hanging out on a sunday at a laundry mat to pick up the mexicans that are doing their laundry for the week... instead getting the guys that are selling drugs or running gangs.... they toook the eazy way...

I wish I could come up witha good plan for the illeagal problem... So far here are my options...

1) Deport all people that aren't here legally and then make sure all the bussiness that hired them are punished... This is good, but has brought up some problems... Some guys bought their papers to work here...

another side question, with all the bills that illeagals are running up and hospital emergency rooms and the governments say that they aren't paying taxes and all... if they have fake papers or stolen ones, Where does the money that gets collected for SS and Fifa and stuff go?  This question baffles me... if everyone is checking their credit scores, wouldn't they notice or the IRS notice if an extra income or 3 extra  jobs that some one is working show up?

2) second option is more like high school but for illeagals... get them a "work Permit"  Make all of them register, get a background check, deprt the bad guys, let the good ones that have verifyable employment work for a 2 to 3 year stint here... If they have babes, the kids may have the option of dual citizenship. the parent could apply for citizenship but is not automatic because thay dropped a baby here...

3) They need to adapt to american values and traditions... This is nessesary for all people that come here... unless they are just visiting... adapt to an american way of life... what that is exactly... a house, a dog, 2.5 kids, bills... SPEAKING ENGLISH.... not bringing 4000 year old laws that are a backwards step for our society... like the muslim "Sharee" laws that I have heard some about...

-imagine driving through some town in Oregon of all places and suddenly seeing women in burkas covered head to toe, no speed limits, guys in their pajamas with AK's roaming the streets looking for anybody breaking the law... Women with no rights... to be bought, sold and traded like a car... You get pulled over bat gunpoint because your wife or girlfrind isn't wearing a burka... and you get fined and she gets beaten... Sounds great isn't it... ?

*the only thing good is maybe the guys roaming with AK's, I bet that would keep the taggers from tagging stuff up if they knew that they could possible get shot for tagging and then whipped or some other form of humiliation in the town center...* Of course I believe that an armed society is a polite society...

ok, I ranted enough here...I will reflect on this, maybe fine tun it some more. but  I got to go  do some yard work beofre I go to work... then I get the weekend off, yeah!!!

Rascale Flats concert at the Shoreline

So I wnet with my gf and a few other gilrs to the Rascal Flats COncert at the Shoreline. It was alota fun. Gary Allen was the best followed by the Wreckers. Rascal Flats was ok. They teased us with a couple starts of cover songs... Hotel California was excellent by them. As in well performed. Then the Cars song: Life is a highway...

Gary Allen was way cool. He only did 6 songs though I think.

The Wreckers with Michelle Branch was good. The mix seemed off. they were too loud and muddy... or maybe it was sitting way back on the lawn...

It was fun, the drunk girls and all....

ONLY irritations were the pot smokers that I would catch a whif of every once in a while... the people talking on there cell phones... Drunk mean people in the parking lot when we were leaving... My GF and I just played with my RC cars and made a bunch of people laugh while I tore around in the dirt and they wasted gas...
